Zizia aurea

Brilliant yellow umbels May – July. Compound fern-like leaves; clumping habit. 12 – 24″ tall. Full sun – full shade. Will produce seedlings when happy. Attracts butterflies, beneficial insects. Mixes well with blue flowers and foliage. Easy care. Native from New Brunswick to Florida in moist woods, open meadows and riverbanks. Zone 4.
