Viola walteri ‘Silver Gem’

Beautiful silver foliage with green veins forms dense mats of trailing stems. Lavender-blue flowers. Apr – Oct. Blooms heavily in spring and continues into fall. 3 – 5″ tall. Light to moderate shade. Attracts butterflies. Useful as an edger, small-scale groundcover, in containers and walls. Eastern U.S. native species. Zone 5.
