Large, deep blue flowers in April – May. Large, glossy evergreen leaves. 4 – 6″ tall. Light to full shade. Drought tolerant. Competes well with tree roots. Deer resistant. Small to large-scale groundcover. Excellent choice for creating islands around trees & shrubs, bank plantings, shrub borders. Zone 4.
