Deep purple flowers April – May. Evergreen leaves on trailing stems form a dense cover. 4 – 6″ tall. Light to full shade. Drought tolerant. Competes well with tree roots. Deer resistant. Excellent choice for creating islands around trees & shrubs, bank plantings, shrub borders. Zone 4.
