Purple flowers on upright, wiry stems. June – October. Handsome foliage is brushed with rosy tones. 1 – 2′ tall. Full sun to light shade. Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies. Good cut flower. Masses, mixed borders, cottage gardens. Tender perennial but will readily self-sow forming new plants year after year. Zone 7.
