A dwarf variety only 18 – 24″ tall. White flowers in May. Full sized fruit late season in July – August. Full sun – light shade. Moist, organically rich, acidic, well-drained soil. Attracts butterflies. Highly ornamental. Orange-red fall color. Shrub borders, containers. Northeastern U.S. native species. Zone 3.
