Mat-forming deeply lobed leaves with burgundy centers. Foliage bronzes in fall but is evergreen. Foamy white flowers May – July. 12″ tall. Light to full shade; organically rich, moist soil. Combines well with deciduous trees & shrubs. Small to large-scale groundcover, accent, containers. Deer resistant. Selection of a northeastern U.S. native. Zone 4.
