Bright green, maple-like leaves with a maroon heart. Evergreen. New leaves emerge chocolate. Foamy pale pink flowers, May – July. 8 – 12″ tall. Light to full shade; rich, moist soil. Groundcover, accent, containers. Attracts butterflies and other pollinators. Deer resistant. Zone 4.
