Stokesia ‘Mel’s Blue’

Periwinkle blue, 4″ wide flowers.  Fringed petals give a lacy effect. Good cut flowers.  Clump formers.  Blooms from July – September.  Cut back spent blooms to encourage reblooming. 12 – 18″ tall.  Full sun. Well-drained soil; drought tolerant.  Attracts butterflies and other pollinators.  Southeastern U.S. native.  Zone 5.
