Stachys byzantine ‘Silky Fleece’
This dwarf-leafed variety of tiny, 1″ woolly “lamb’s ears” forms clumps 2-3″ tall and 10″ wide. Small, lavender flowers rise to 10″ tall. June – July. Full sun, well-drained soil. Holds up well in heat & humidity. Provides excellent contrast as a small-scale groundcover and in the front of the garden. Deer resistant. Zone 4.
