Blue flowers with yellow stamens. May – July. 6 – 18″ tall grass-like foliage that looks good all season long. Full sun – light shade. Moist and drought tolerant. Small-scale groundcover, mixed border, edger, naturalized areas. Northeast U.S. native of meadows and along the edges of salt marshes. Zone 3.
