Low growing succulent groundcover 1 – 2″ tall. Forms colony of small rosettes covered with cobwebby white hairs. Red flowers July – August. Full sun – light shade. Drought tolerant. Tolerant of infertile & sandy soils. Native to the mountains of Southern Europe. Deer resistant. Zone 4.
