Upright fern-like appearance. 6 – 12″ tall. Foliage turns russet in the winter but remains upright until spring. Moderate shade, organically rich, moist soil. Deer resistant. Excellent in combination with spring beauties like primula, anemone, pulmonaria & spring bulbs. The hardiest of the selaginellas. Zone 5.
