Green, needle-like foliage in summer that turns maroon red in the cooler months. Evergreen. 3 – 6″ tall. Yellow flowers June – July. Creeping/trailing habit. Full sun, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies. Excellent in containers. Small-scale groundcover, edger, small space filler. Zone 4.
