Gold leaves most prominent in the summer. Forms a low, evergreen mat 1 – 2″ tall. Golden-yellow flowers June – July. Full sun, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies. Reddish fall/winter foliage highlights. Stepping stones, edger, rock gardens, containers, small space filler. Zone 4.
