Light green, evergreen leaves carpet the ground 1 – 2″ tall. Golden yellow flowers in June. Full sun to part shade, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Tolerates light foot traffic. Attracts butterflies. Stepping stones, rock gardens, sandy/gravelly small space filler. Zone 3.
