Upright “pitchers” colored cinnamon red with crackled white tops attract insects which get trapped and digested! Ages to deeper red. 16″ long. Magenta-red flowers. May – July. Full sun. Easily grown in a saucer filled with water. Do not fertilize. Fascinating in their form, function and beauty! Eastern U.S. native species. Zone 6.
