Sarracenia ‘Maroon’

Dark maroon “pitchers” serve to attract insects which get trapped and digested! 6 – 8″ long. Dark red flowers. May – July. Full sun; consistently moist to wet soil. Easily grown in a saucer filled with water. Do not fertilize. Fascinating in their form, function and beauty! Hybrid of eastern U.S. native species. Zone 6.
