Fluffy, pink-maroon, bottlebrush- shaped flowers dangle from long stems. Earlier blooming than other Sanguisorbas. June – July. Forms beefy clumps of saw-toothed foliage. 24 – 36″ tall. Full sun – part shade, average to moist soils. Attracts butterflies. Graceful accents for their handsome, gray-green pinnate foliage and gorgeous flowers. Zone 4.
