Arching shrub 6 – 10′ tall. Enormous, lacy, white flower clusters in June. Purple-black fruit in August. Full sun to light shade. Moist soil tolerant. Fast growing. Fruit can be used to make wine and jam. Remove older canes every few years for best performance. Attracts butterflies and other pollinators. Northeastern U.S. native. Zone 4.
