Vibrant dark purple flowers May – July. 18″ tall. Full sun – light shade, well-drained soil. Moderately drought tolerant. Cut back spent blooms for re-bloom. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer resistant. Combines well with Asclepias tuberosa, achillea, coreopsis and hemerocallis. Zone 5.
