Large, indigo-violet flowers June – July. 18″ tall. Full sun – light shade, well-drained soil. Moderately drought tolerant. Cut back spent blooms for extended bloom time. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer resistant. Combine with achillea, coreopsis and hemerocallis. Garden borders. Zone 5.
