Rounded shrub with narrow, powder blue leaves on wiry, purple stems. 4 – 5′ tall. Full sun to light shade, moist soil. Fast growing. Takes well to pruning. Excellent in the mixed border, as a hedge or specimen. The stems are used in basket making. Winter interest. Salt tolerant. Zone 3.
