Large, shiny, black berries. Reliably produces loads of berries in July. Noted for its excellent flavor! Full sun; well-drained soil. Plant at three foot spacing. If planting multiple rows, use ten foot row spacing. Tip prune new canes in summer. Cut back old canes after bearing fruit. Yummy! Northeastern U.S. native species. Zone 5.
