Strongly mint-scented leaves.  3′ tall.  Small pale lavender flowers in showy clusters.  Full sun – part shade.  Flower nectar attracts beneficial insects.  Attracts hummingbirds & butterflies.  Fast spreading.  Deer resistant.  Drought tolerant.  Northeastern U.S. native of upland woods and meadows.  Ours are Long Island native.  Zone 4.
