Oval, pointed green leaves with mint-like fragrance.  3′ tall.  Small lilac-pink flowers.  July – September.  Full sun – light shade.  Flower nectar attracts beneficial insects.  Fast spreading.  Attracts hummingbirds & butterflies.  Deer resistant.  Northeastern U.S. native of moist woods and meadows.  Zone 4.
