Upper leaves and bracts covered in fine, silvery-white hairs creates a soft, hoary appearance. 2-3′ tall. Full sun-part sun; well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Attracts beneficial insects and pollinators. Deer resistant. NE U.S. native. Zone 4.
