A.K.A Dodecatheon. Dangling flowers on leafless scapes naturally vary in color; pink, purple and whitish. Apr-May. 18″ tall. Wavy, lance-shaped leaves form basal rosettes. Light to moderate shade. Best in organically rich, well-drained soil. Front of beds and borders. Summer dormant. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant. NE U.S native. Zone 4.
