Evergreen creeper forming dense mat 4 – 6″ tall.  White flowers with a pink stripe down each petal.  May – June.  Full sun – part shade, well-drained soil.  Moderately drought tolerant.  Attracts butterflies.  Edger, front of the border, groundcover, rockeries.  Deer resistant.  Northeastern U.S. native.  Zone 3.
