Climbing vine. A very hardy passion flower. 2 – 3″ wide beautifully complex purple/white flowers. July – frost. Edible yellow-green fleshy fruit reported to taste like guava.~8 – 12′ tall. Full sun – light shade, moist soil. Attracts butterflies. Grow on a fence, trellis or let scramble in shrubs. Eastern US native. Zone 7.
