Upright foliage emerges blue-green changing to maroon-red in the summer. Flowers begin in July. 36 – 40″ tall. Beautiful & versatile long-lived warm season grass. Full sun. Drought tolerant once established. Remains attractive through winter. Cut back to 5″ tall in early spring. NE U.S. native species. Zone 4.
