Opuntia fragilis ‘Alberta Sunset’

A diminutive cactus, native to Canada!  Only 4 – 5″ tall, 18″ wide.   Small, cylindrical, evergreen pads with purple blush in winter.  Nearly spineless.  Bold flowers open bright yellow and age to intense hot pink.  July. Full sun, well-drained soil.  Drought tolerant.  Zone 3.
