Syn. Stipa ichu. Fine textured foliage forms dense clumps with pronounced weeping form. Silvery, soft, silky flowers in June fade to tan and persist through winter. Notably sturdy. 24-36″ tall. Full sun. Heat tolerant. Drought tolerant. Effective as a specimen and in masses. Deer resistant. Zone 7.
