Syn. Austrostipa elegantissima.  Fine textured foliage forms dense clumps that move easily in the breeze. Silvery flowers in June turn a straw color and are effective through the fall. 18-24″ tall. Full sun. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant. Effective in containers, singly and in masses. Zone 7.
