Multi-colored pink to creamy white flower bracts. Flowers are smaller and less showy than bracts, but are a charming yellow with brown dots. June – July. Highly aromatic foliage. 1 – 3′ tall. Full sun – part shade. Average to dry soil. Cut back spent flowers to encourage reblooming. Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Self-sows readily. Northeastern U.S. native. Zone 3.
