Violet flowers. July – August. Mildew resistant, aromatic foliage. 36 – 48″ tall. Full sun – part shade. Average to moist soil. Performs best when soil is kept evenly moist. Cut back spent flowers to encourage reblooming. Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Northeastern U.S. native. Zone 3.
