Bright magenta-pink tubular flowers in dense, globed clusters.  May – July.  Strongly citrus-scented foliage.  1 – 3′ tall.  Full sun – part shade.  Average to dry soil.  Cut back spent flowers to encourage reblooming.  Deer resistant.  Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.  Annual, but self-sows readily.  Eastern U.S. native.
