Heart-shaped leaves remain attractive all season long. Low spreading, trailing habit. Showy pale purple flowers May – July. 4 – 6″ tall. Light to full shade; moist, well-drained soil. Shade groundcover. Mixes well with ferns, sedges, toadlilies, anemones. Effective in the shaded shrub border. E U.S. native. Zone 4.
