Golden, semi-evergreen grass-like leaves. 1′ tall. Flowers to 2′ tall in May. Light to moderate shade. Tolerates moisture & drought. Dense tufts slowly spread to form weed-smothering masses. Excellent companion for ferns, woodland flowers. Ideal for under trees & shrubs. Zone 6.
