Scarlet red flowers with yellow-orange throats.  May – June and into the summer.  Full sun – part shade.  Twining growth habit – needs support to climb.  Fences, trellises, poles, deck railing, wall shrub, groundcover.  Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.  Cultivar of a Northeastern U.S. native species.  Zone 4.
