Attractive, green, quilted foliage edged in chartreuse. White downy stems. Each stem is tipped with multiple spikes of dark pink flowers in October. Clumping shrub habit reminiscent of Hydrangea macrophylla. 3 – 3.5′ tall. Part to full shade. Yellow fall foliage. Deer resistant. Native to Japan. Zone 5.
