Foliage almost completely silver 10 – 12″ tall. Orchid-purple flowers May – June with some repeat in the summer and fall. Performs best in cool, shady areas and well-drained, rich, acidic soil. Garden highlighter. Small to moderate-scale groundcover, accent, edger, containers, woodlands. Deer resistant. Zone 4.
