Green leaves with a white band 4 – 6″ tall. Smoky violet flowers May – June with repeat in the summer and fall. Performs best in cool, shady areas & well-drained, rich, acidic soil. Spreading habit. Small to moderate-scale groundcover, accent, edger, containers, woodlands. Deer resistant. Zone 4.
