Iris x robusta ‘Gerald Darby’

Blue-violet flowers.  May – June.  Sword-like leaves flushed with purple in the spring.  2 – 3′ tall.  Full sun to light shade.  Moist to wet soil tolerant.  Salt tolerant.  Deer resistant.  Attracts hummingbirds & butterflies.  A hybrid of two northeastern U.S. native species.  Zone 4.
