Deep, rich green leaves. 6 – 9′ tall. Full sun – light shade. Moist soil tolerant. This is a male pollinator for the berry producing female varieties. A favorite shrub species for fall and winter effect & attracting birds. Salt tolerant. Northeastern U.S. native species. Zone 3.
