Deep, rich green leaves. 6 – 8′ tall. Full sun – light shade. Moist soil tolerant. Bright red berries starting in fall with good fruit retention in winter. Requires a male pollinator for berry production. A favorite shrub for fall and winter effect & attracting birds. Salt tolerant. Northeastern U.S. native. Ours are Long Island provenance. Zone 3.
