Graceful, arching stems form flowing mounds 18 – 24″ tall. Reminiscent of bamboo. Attractive seed heads August – September. Light to full shade. Slow spreading clumps. Copper-orange fall color. Plant individually as an accent or in masses & drifts. Rustles pleasingly in the breeze. Deer resistant. Zone 4.
