Gillenia trifoliata ‘Pink Profusion’

Formerly Porteranthus trifoliatus.  Starry, clear pink flowers June – July. Attractive foliage turning orange to yellow in the fall. Bushy habit. Wiry deep red stems. 24 – 30″ tall. Interesting seed heads persist into winter. Light to moderate shade best; full sun ok if moist. Long-lived. Deer resistant. N.E. U.S. native species. Zone 4.
