Formerly Porteranthus stipulatus.  Starry white flowerson wiry red stems. June – July. Finely serrated foliage. 24 – 36″ tall. Light to moderate shade best; full sun ok if moist. Tolerant of a wide variety of conditions. Drought tolerant. Long-lived. Deer resistant. Bronze-red fall foliage. Red seed heads. Northeastern U.S. native. Zone 5.
