Large, purple-blue blooms with dark violet veins and white eye. June – July with sporadic blooms to fall. Vigorously forms clumps of deeply lobed green foliage. 18-24″ tall. Full sun to part shade. Average to moist, well-draining soil. Drought tolerant once established. Red tinged fall foliage. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant. Zone 5.
